Film ~ Inspirations

Rose's dinner with Jack gown.
This was entered for the 2007 International Fashion Doll Makeovers Competition.
Not for Sale (private collection)

The gown is made of pink Taffeta with Black Silk Chiffon
overlay with hand appliqued Black and Silver glitter
(individually glued on). The underdress is made of pink cotton.
The jewellery is made of Antique Glass seed beads.
The gloves are made from nylon tricot, fastened with a petite
pearl bead. Full face paint and hair restyling.

Padme Amidala

The cloak is made of Moss Green Polyester Stretch Velvet, lined with
Olive Rayon. The gown beneath the cloak is made of 100% Rayon in Dark Olive.
The entire skirt is quilt stitched. The sash is of Violet Satin in the photo
(I have switched it to Organza.)

This is my Only Jack & Rose set from TITANIC... SOLD on EBAY in 1999

Rose is holding my handmade Heart of the Ocean choker. Her 2 piece outfit is made of
Indigo Stretch Velvet and Charmeuse Satin. The Shawl is made of unbleached silk chiffon
and has been apliqued with hand braided embroidery floss. Under the dress Rose has a
cotton chemise with a satin corset and stockings. Jack has a cotton workshirt
with a hand tinted yoke in Blue Grey with clear Antique Glass seed beads for "buttons".
He came with the Grey "borrowed" overcoat. He has canvas and leather suspenders holding
up his hand dyed cotton corduroy pants. Beneath which he has drawstring boxers. ;)

SOLD - This one was the "Swimming" dress from the sinking scene
and it included the embroidered pink overcoat.

I love this one-the slipdress beneath is Lilac colored rayon. the overlay is 100%
unbleached Silk Chiffon. I hand tinted each piece in varying shades of Lavender and Lilac
to show the gradation of color in this gown (which in reality is like a Japanese water color come to life).
Too bad the photo doesn't illustrate that.
(The coat was a Dusty Rose wool felt hand embroidered
with dramatic Art Nouveau inspired motifs in black)

SOLD - This was the lacey tea dress she wore to brunch. It was the scene when Jack first saw Rose...

How is this for alliteration: Chartreuse Charmeuse! Lovely gown in light yellow green
with a lace and mesh overlay. I layered 2 types of Lace (a chevron and a scallop pattern)
over Ivory Toile and I embroidered the sleeves. Handmade Turquoise bead earrings, floral cumberbund and Smokey(simulated)Topaz pendant necklace completes the look.
